The standard safety frame in the 1950 and 60’s was completely customizable with different lens, bridge, and temple options. These frames were typically made out of a safety material that was opaque in its natural state – therefore, able to be dyed into several colours. We here at Opticianado have been collecting these vintage gems and are pleased to show you the variety they were made available in. Also, we think they’re totally awesome for everyday eyeglasses.
