At the end of the second World War, the United Kingdom began administering free eye wear and eye protection to the public. The Algha Works factory, also known as Savile Row were the main producers of these frames which brought them great success while keeping a strictly regulated manufacturing standard. Their safety frame was available in several different shapes and colours, as seen on the chart.
